Rum for two is an enveloping and seductive perfume, sometimes cheeky, which calls attention to itself. It is a complex and elusive fragrance, difficult to define, since every time you think you have understood it, it surprises you with new and contrasting aspects. Its notes come together to create a unique, original and fascinating accord. The opening is a balance of bergamot and saffron that leaves room for a vibrant heart of rose, tobacco and rum. On the base, notes of patchouli, tonka bean, cedarwood together with a subtle touch of cocoa and amber woods give a luxurious depth and persistence that accompanies the wearer of the perfume for hours. Rum for two is a mystery. Among the various notes, rum is the creator and accomplice, it is there, hidden between the folds of the sheets of a “room for two”, in a game of assonances. There in that room where everything is suspended, sex, love, a simple story… Contrasting impulses intertwine in this elusive, yet sensual and elegant arrangement. Rum for two leaves the door of that room open. In fact, in creating it I imagined an unfinished encounter, a silent but powerful dialogue, a sensory journey into the depths of emotions, from which a refined balance will emerge. All this is the result of a personal experience that I wanted to turn into perfume. I am Gio Rocca Profumi and Rum for two is my first work.
