In 1815 a large quantity of tobacco, left to dry in the summer sun of the Manifattura di Firenze, was surprised by a violent downpour. Not being able to “throw into the Arno” all that amount of tobacco, it was decided to produce cigars to sell to the people of Florence. It was immediately a great success: the water, in fact, fermented the tobacco, giving it a completely new taste. Tabacco 1815 is the traditional perfume that was born by pure chance and that today celebrates more than 200 years of history.
