ETRANGO contains both the French word “strange” and the English word “strange”; but it also sounds like “tango”. Thus, ETRANGO invites metropolitan molecules to dance, inspires curiosity about the unknown and leaves the ordinary behind.
J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin rewrites an exciting chapter in its history with ETRANGO. When the original ETRANGO was launched in 1929, it was presented in a bottle that featured the stylized silhouette of a metropolis. The fragrance has been described as a "fantasy scent – distinct, innovative, powerful and long-lasting". In his contemporary adaptation of the bottle design, Lutz Herrmann visually evolves these characteristics and cites iconographic shapes in a confident, elegant, timeless and urban way.
