The new fragrance of the delire de voyage collection by Filippo Sorcinelli, is presented today just before the Easter events.
Philip emphasizes these moments by interpreting in smell some passages of the Gospel of Mark, and in particular the moment of amazement and fear of the women when they realize that the stone of the Sepulchre has rolled away.
In an ideal image to describe this moment, the bottle of the aromatic oils based on aloe and myrrh, very expensive, which they had prepared to anoint the body of Jesus, is dropped to the ground when they saw not only the stone rolled away, but all the white linen sheets that wrapped the body. Hence the announcement of a young man dressed in a dazzling white...
The bottle together with the four "wings" that open as "ritual" are covered with sand, dust, just to remember the steps, the road and the place. But the element that blocks the attention is the cap that reproduces the stylistic features of the stone of the tomb that has rolled away, just as they were once built.
The artwork is covered in its entirety by a veil of white linen, on which is reproduced the name of the fragrance: HÆEC DIES.
The outside of the packaging is also covered with the same linen.
