Egypt by EIGHT & BOB is a fragrance of the group for women and men. Egypt was launched on the market in 2014.

EGYPT is one of the most precious fragrances created by Albert Fouquet. In 1935 Albert decided to keep his promise to his childhood friend Ahmed, to visit him and, at the same time, make one of his dreams come true. Albert was fascinated by ancient Egyptian culture and while visiting his friend in Egypt he was able to appreciate the extensive tours to the great pyramid of Giza, as well as those to the temples of Luxor and Hatshepsut.

For Albert Fouquet, the trip was also the opportunity to reach the native place of perfume. He rediscovered those essences that remained in use for millennia. His curiosity led him to discover the extraordinarily aromatic content placed in the jars that were offered to the divinities to protect the pharaohs, or that used to satisfy the revered Cleopatra. The moment Albert entered the foyer of his friend Ahmed’s house, the journey was enriched by the impressive garden of his friend’s mansion which contained dozens of flowers unknown to Albert.

Albert was overwhelmed with new sensations and failing to extend his already long journey, he organized a new journey four months later with the precise intention of finding a special perfume.

After many weeks of intense work in Ahmed’s house, Albert Fouquet selected the final details of the new composition in the family chateau in Paris.
