Qadèsh is the name of the battle in which the Shardana fought victoriously alongside the pharaoh against the Hittites, but also the name of the Syrian sun-goddess adopted in Egyptian religion, linked to love and sensuality. It’s powerful and sensual at the same time. It evokes victory achieved through battle or seduction. The symbol recalls the helmet of the Shardana warriors and also the symbol of the goddess Qadesh.
