Grande-Ile is the name given by the locals to Madagascar, as it is the Big Island in the Indian Ocean, rich in biodiversity. Madagascar is the island of the iconic vanilla planifolia but also the island of spices. Then the fragrance creates a combination of spices and vanilla to offer a fragrance in which natural ingredients are very present, while still leaving a multi-faceted finished product. Grande Ils contains locally grown spices and is mainly multifaceted from Mada black pepper – one of the best black peppers in perfumery – extracted from Co2 – a super clean extraction process. It also includes pink berries and clove leaf oils grown in different regions of the big island. It also has hints of saffron. Vanilla is present with an infusion of vanilla cement. The presence of Vanilla is in the background and it doesn’t. The accord of the fragrance has been combined with several other natural wood extracts to accompany and break up the fragrance a bit, giving it a unisex character.
