Created in 1998 by IFF, MUSK Z4 is a sensual, soft and powdery macrocyclic musk with slightly more animal tones, less sandalwood , with extremely fine powdery and metallic facets. Quite powerful, it’s a nice musk note reminiscent of natural Tonkin musk adding a creamy, musky effect. Particularly interesting effects can be obtained at low levels with floral, fruity and tasty compositions. It is, however, incredibly persistent and probably one of the best fixers known in perfumery.
Contains more animal odor than most synthetic musks.
