Nights at sea give way to all fears , as to the most ancient legends. One of them is a legend about sea monsters emerging from the abyss trying to overflow the ship. No one can fight the animal by devouring the iodized wooden boat which will find its end in fire and then wet ashes.

A long time ago, in 13th century Norse sagas, I was described as the biggest monster of the sea, giving origins to the greatest fears and oldest myths told by sailors. A colossal creature capable of capsizing and engulfing an entire ship and its crew. Rising from the depths of the sea with my tentacled arms, I haunt the nights at sea with my abysmal scent.
